It's interesting to note, in 1930 all the homes on Summit Street were listed as rented, monthly rental price between $32.50 to $65.00 except for the Haworth's home, which they owned, owners value of $11,000, and the house next to them, listed as valued at $10,000, owned by Charles A. Hyle, Secretary of a Dairy Company. The national price average for a home between 1920 and 1930 was approximately $6,000.

The Haworth's and Hyle's were living in these same homes in the 1920 Census. Edwin Haworth was listed as the Manager of a Public Hospital. The Haworth's had four unrelated people in their home, none of the ones listed in the 1930 Census; May Cowan- a 22 yr old private Nurse, Claude Thomas- a 26 yr old single man..no occupation listed, and Roy and Hazel White- a 20-something married couple..no occupations listed. The Haworth's neighbor, Charles Hyle was listed as a Public Accountant.

According to information on Rootsweb.com, Cora's maiden name was Haworth. Edwin Haworth and Cora Haworth were third cousins.
